WelcomeThe Riverfly Partnership is a dynamic network of organisations, representing anglers, conservationists, entomologists, scientists, water course managers and relevant authorities, working together to: - protect the water quality of our rivers; - further the understanding of riverfly populations; - and actively conserve riverfly habitats. The Riverfly Partnership is hosted by the Freshwater Biological Association.
Recently, the Freshwater Biological Association (FBA) was asked to take part in a short film, entitled 'Brass, Three Down', about the history, heritage and environmental challenges facing Arctic Charr in Windermere.
As well as extensive commitments to his family, angling and entomolgy, Stuart Crofts remains one of the Riverfly Partnership's greatest supporters. In addition to regularly delivering ARMI training workshops and support days, Stuart represents RP at a number of events throughout the year.
During the week commencing 16 October 2017 there was a major power failure at FBA which has resulted in IT hardware problems. Data and websites, including the Riverfly Partnership website and ARMI database, were unavailable for a few days as a result but both have now been recovered and are functioning as normal again.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused as a result of this problem, and thank you for your patience.
