Conference 2016

The 4th national Riverfly Partnership conference, entitled 'Riverfly Monitoring and Beyond' convened in the Flett Theatre, Natural History Museum, London on 17th November 2016. Representatives of organisations, and individuals, participating in the Riverfly Partnership and the Anglers’ Riverfly Monitoring Initiative (ARMI) attended in good numbers to take in the exciting combination of presentations and posters included in the programme. The event consisted of a poster viewing with q&a and live demonstration session during morning registration and lunch, a morning presentation session focused on the role that ARMI plays within participating organisations and an afternoon presentation session about the various 'Riverfly Plus' monitoring opportunities available to volunteers. Riverfly Partnership Chair, Steve Brooks opened the conference and introduced the programme before Dr Tim Littlewood, Head of Life Sciences, Natural History Museum (NHM), welcomed everybody on behalf of the NHM. Charles Rangeley-Wilson and Professor Steve Ormerod chaired the morning and afternoon sessions respectively, with consummate professionalism and expert opinion in each case. Presentation title, presenter, poster title, author, and live demo presenter details are listed below, each title is a link to the corresponding presentation or poster - just click to view.
