Speakers and delegates drawn from the statutory agencies, fishing organisations, conservation agencies, NGOs and academia discussed Your rivers - their future and was followed by a panel discussion with questions from the audience.

Speakers included: Chairman of the Environment Agency, Rt. Hon. Lord Smith of Finsbury; environmental scientist Professor Steve Ormerod; Anglers' Monitoring Initiative leads Will Tall (Wandle Piscators) and Dai Roberts (South East Wales Monitoring Group) and international fly fisherman Stuart Crofts amongst others. The conference was full with 200 delegates.
