New FSC course - Introduction to Identifying and Recording Adult Caddisflies, Stoneflies and Mayflies

This course is open to everyone and will be held from Friday 28th July to Monday 31st July 2017 at the Malham Tarn Field Studies Council site. Tutors for the course are Sharon and Peter Flint, both authorities on the Caddisflies at Malham having carried out extensive survey and monitoring of this group over many years. 4th National Riverfly Partnership Conference presentations and posters available online

The 4th national Riverfly Partnership conference, entitled 'Riverfly Monitoring and Beyond' convened in the Flett Theatre, Natural History Museum, London on 17th November 2017. Representatives of organisations, and individuals, participating in the Riverfly Partnership and the Anglers’ Riverfly Monitoring Initiative (ARMI) attended in good numbers to take in the exciting combination of presentations and posters included in the programme.

Freshwater Biological Association to become Riverfly Partnership host from April 2017

During his presentation at the 4th National Riverfly Partnership Conference at the Natural History Museum, London on 17th November, Dr Bill Brierley, Chief Executive of the Freshwater Biological Association (FBA) confirmed the exciting news that Freshwater Biological Association will take over from Salmon & Trout Conservation UK (S&TC) as Riverfly Partnership host at the beginning of April 2017.
