Plecoptera Recording Scheme


The Plecoptera Recording Scheme is run by David Pryce on a volunteer basis as part of the Riverfly Recording Schemes partnership. The Schemes are supported by The Biological Records Centre (BRC), see also Plecoptera Recording Scheme and Riverfly Recording Schemes

Conservation status for two British stoneflies


Eight species of riverfy, two of which are mayflies, qualified for conservation status on the new Biodiversity Action Plan Species list. Inclusion on the list means that there is government committment to support conservation measures for these species.
