National Riverfly Conferences
The Riverfly Partnership organises a series of conferences to discuss issues concerning riverfly conservation and river quality.
The next Riverfly Partnership conference will be held at The Natural History Museum, London on Thursday 23 September 2010. Speakers and delegates will be drawn from the statutory agencies, fishing organisations, conservation agencies, NGOs and academia.
The inaugral national riverfly conference: Riverflies: a beacon for environmental quality was held at The Natural History Museum in 2004 followed by How good is your river? in 2007. Both conferences were booked to capacity and attracted delegates from across the field.
The Riverfly Partnership was formerly established at the conference in 2004 and the River Invertebrate Monitoring for Anglers initiative (commonly referred to as the Anglers Monitoring Initiative) was launched at the conference in 2007.
